Greenbrier County Schools reminds families that students will be released 2-hours early on Thursday, December 19, for required Faculty Senates. The holiday break begins Friday, December 20, and school reconvenes on Thursday, January 2. Enjoy a peaceful holiday break!


Ronceverte Elementary was the site of a "Super Spelling Bee" with fifth graders, Evan Runyon and Everleigh Williams, capturing first and second place after numerous, rigorous rounds. The air was high with excitement as students tackled spelling very difficult words with mastery! Thanks to Sharon Byers, our moderator, and the judges, Sara Hill, Riley Dodge, Pam Hanna, and Jeremy McClung with a special thanks to Sheri Yunker, the school coordinator for the event!
