This Friday, we're celebrating the opening of the Annual Sharing the Gift of Our Talents Student Art Exhibit at the Greenbrier County CVB in downtown Lewisburg. Don't miss the chance to see the two- and three-dimensional art and the impressive digital display of additional works created by GCS middle and high school students! The EGMS Show Choir will add a festive spirit by presenting holiday songs from 5:30 to 6 p.m. The exhibit will be on display from December 1 to February 26. Many thanks to our inspiring art educators, talented students, and the citizens of Greenbrier County for supporting our art programs through the school levy. #ArtMatters and we are honored to partner with the CVB to share the talent of these outstanding students!

This is an important message from Ronceverte Elementary School.
The week before Thanksgiving break, we sent home Square One Art information and artwork that your child created in art class. The deadline for ordering items is tonight, November 27. This year all orders have to be ordered on line. Every student who has an order will get a "dragon Pass" to get extra recess to play in the giant dragon bouncy house. The top 5 students with the most orders will get to choose lunch with the principal or teacher. Also, the classroom with the most orders will get a pizza party. Please make sure you get on line and order your items tonight!
Also, we are accepting new or like new items for Santa's Workshop through December 8th. Please send your items to school with your child as soon as possible.
Thanks you and have a great evening.

Greenbrier County Schools wishes students and families a safe and happy Thanksgiving break. Schools will be closed Monday, November 20, through Friday, November 24. Please remember that Friday, November 17, is a Teacher-Parent Conference Day, and students do not report. Thank you!

Greenbrier County Schools reminds families that schools will be closed on Friday, November 10, in observance of the Veterans Day holiday.

This is an important reminder from Ronceverte Elementary School. Please hold:
The wrong time was listed for the Veteran's Day Program at Ronceverte Elementary on yesterday's calling system. The program actually starts at 1:00 p.m. The luncheon is still at 12:15, but the program starts at 1:00 p.m.; not 1:30. Sorry for the confusion!
Thank you!

This is just a reminder that Ronceverte Elementary School will be having their annual Veteran's Day Program on Thursday, November 9, at 1:30. If your child has invited a veteran to attend the program, please tell them to arrive by 12:15 to enjoy lunch prior to the program. We are encouraging students to wear red, white and/or blue on Thursday and to donate $1 to help pay for the veteran's lunches.
Also, if you have any food donations for the Ronceverte Food Pantry, please make sure they are sent to the school on or before Thursday, November 9. All donated items should be non-perishable food items.
Thank you!

Daylight saving time will end on Sunday, November 5. Please remember to turn your clocks back one hour.
